The small print.

These terms cover the My Tiny Tank app for Apple Watch and this website. The app is made by David Capp ("I", "me"), an independent developer based in England.

1. Your licence

My Tiny Tank is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard EULA), together with these terms. You may use the app for your own personal, non-commercial use on Apple devices you own or control, as the App Store's terms allow. If these terms and the standard EULA disagree, the standard EULA applies.

2. Your fish

Your fish are virtual pets. What they do is chosen by an AI model that runs on your Apple Watch, as part of the game. They aren't real or conscious, and nothing they do is advice.

3. Coral Coins and in-game items

Coral Coins, and the decorations and other items you collect with them, exist only inside the game. They have no real-world value, can't be exchanged for money or anything else, and can't be transferred to another person. Prices and rewards may be adjusted in updates to keep the game balanced.

4. Your tank and your data

Your tank is stored only on your Apple Watch. If you delete the app or erase your Watch, your tank is lost, and I can't restore it because I never have a copy. The Privacy Policy explains how the app handles data.

5. Please don't

Copy, modify, sell or redistribute the app, or reverse engineer it, except where the law or the open-source licences below allow you to.

6. Open-source software

My Tiny Tank includes open-source software, including Pocket Tank by MediaCutlet and llama2.c by Andrej Karpathy, both under the MIT License. Their notices are in the app, under Menu, then About. My Tiny Tank isn't endorsed by MediaCutlet.

7. Updates and availability

I may update the app, add or change features, or stop offering it. I'll try to keep your tank working through updates, but I can't promise the app will always be available or free of bugs.

8. Liability

The app is provided as it is, as far as the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow to be limited, and nothing in them affects your statutory rights as a consumer. Otherwise, my total liability to you in connection with the app is limited to the amount you paid for it.

9. Trademarks

Apple, Apple Watch and iPhone are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries. App Store is a service mark of Apple Inc. My Tiny Tank isn't made or endorsed by Apple.

10. The law that applies

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can hear any dispute. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you can also rely on the mandatory consumer protections of the place you live and bring a claim in your local courts.

11. Changes to these terms

If I change these terms, I'll update this page and the date at the top. If a change is significant, I'll also mention it in the app's update notes.
