How do I look after my fish?

Tap the top of the tank to drop food. Hold a finger still on the glass to build trust. Swipe down to wipe the glass and sideways to trim the grass. Turn the Digital Crown to switch the lights on or off. Double-tap the glass and you'll give them a fright.

How does a new fry arrive?

Open the menu (tap the bar under the tank) and choose Next Fish to see its checklist: trust, meals, the newest fish growing up, and clean glass. When everything's ticked, the fry hatches the next time the light comes on, as long as there's some grass for it to hatch in. A tank holds up to six fish.

How do I rename a fish?

Open the menu, choose Fish Info, then Rename under the fish. Names can be up to 7 letters. Each new fry also asks for a name as it hatches.

How do I move or put away decorations?

Open the Shop. Each piece you own has Move, and most have Put Away to take them out of the tank without losing them. Put in Tank brings a piece back.

Can I turn off the reminder?

Yes. The app sends at most one gentle reminder when your fish are likely to be hungry, and never at night. To turn notifications off, use the Watch app on your iPhone, or Settings on your Apple Watch.

What if I don't visit for a while?

Your fish never die. The tank keeps living while you're away, so they'll be hungry, and the glass may need a wipe, when you come back.

What happens if I delete the app?

Your tank is stored only on your Apple Watch, so deleting the app deletes your tank too. There's no online backup.
